Ka’ala Systems Technology Corp. Awarded Administrative Support Services at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) Housing & Lodging Program for Commander, Naval Region Hawaii (CNRH) with POP Sep 2017 – Sep 2022
Ka’ala Systems Technology (KST) Corp. was awarded Administrative Support Services at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) Housing & Lodging Program with NIACS 561110. JBPHH, Housing Services Center (HSC), provides services and information regarding housing search, housing relocation, and temporary home furnishing for permanent change of station transition allowances (i.e. Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA)) and other military housing information to personnel permanently assigned to Navy Installations on Oahu and those qualified for referral to the Navy Public Private Venture property management company for possible leasing opportunities. The HSC receives a range of 10,000-14,000 in-office visits annually and receiving well over 40,000 phone calls annually.
KST provides support services to JBPHH Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Program Administrative Office, providing services and information regards housing search, temporary home furnishing, and other Navy housing program business to personnel served through the UH program, assigned to Navy Installations on Oahu. The UH Administrative Office serves up to 20 customers daily for an approximate of 5,000 customers annually.
KST support includes providing administrative support services to HSC and UH Administrative Offices encompassing a full range of moderate clerical/secretarial work assignments in support of the Housing services for Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. Receive questions and provide answers to basic information related to transferring military families regarding family housing availability, and/or wait periods, area information, and business locations to include directions, phone numbers and/or hours of operation. Refer customers to the appropriate department or individual, and greet all customers and guests upon entry to HSC. Assist customers with filling out various documents such as loaner furniture request, HSC Briefing sheet, Housing Exception to Policy letters/request, and/or housing application. Update and prepare reports utilizing CNIC Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) website. Additionally, administrative tasks shall include, but not be limited to, data entry, data retrieval, scanning documents, copying documents, filing, and shredding.
